Susan Boyle performs in New York to adoring fans
The 48-year-old singer's new album I Dreamed A Dream has already become one the fastest selling of the decade.
And she was greeted by ecstatic fans when she arrived in New York for a whistlestop tour at the weekend.
Hundreds carried placards to welcome her and fans at the Rockefeller Centre even presented her with a patchwork quilt they had stitched together. However, there had been reports of video footage showing the star in tears. These were denied by her spokesman, while Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan said people saying it was all getting too much for her should "just shut-up".
In May, the star checked into the Priory clinic suffering from stress soon after she shot to fame. But her spokesman said of the latest claims: "Reports of Susan being upset in New York are completely untrue. "Susan was overjoyed and extremely touched by the gift she had just received and the reception she had from her fans in America."

SUBO Speaking to Sky News, Piers Morgan said a star feeling pressurized was nothing new and Susan was "thoroughly enjoying" her new found fame. "She's made one of the best selling albums of the year, she's one of the biggest selling artists of all time, she's taking America by storm, she's loving every second, she looks amazing," she said. "I think the people that criticize her should just shut-up and enjoy the moment of Susan Boyle becoming one of the biggest and fastest selling artist in history. "What a story."
Figures show that I Dreamed A Dream is one of the fastest-selling albums of the decade, shifting more than 130,000 copies in its first day on sale.

Experts at the Official Charts Company said it is now set to become one of the fastest sellers of the decade. The album features her version of I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables which catapulted the Scottish spinster to fame when she performed it on BGT.
It also includes the standard Cry Me A River, as well as covers of Madonna's You'll See and The Monkees' Daydream Believer. She said: "It was my greatest ambition to release an album and I have finally achieved it. There is happiness out there for everyone who dares to dream."
